Dahlonega is Best Small Town

While many of us have enjoyed the quaint, authentic feel of Dahlonega for many years, it has gained even more attention as of late. In 2023, Southern Living named Dahlonega “Georgia’s Best Small Town,” calling it “magical,” and also wrote a piece about it being the “most perfect Christmas town in the South.” Even more recently, Travel + Leisure named Dahlonega “America’s Best Small Wine, Beer, and Spirits Town” and it made their 2024 list of best mountain towns in the South.

In addition, Dahlonega offers a plethora of restaurants, year-round festivals, and local boutique shopping – only an hour and a half north of Atlanta.
