This property is located in a forested area with steep terrain. When hiking, pack all trash out and follow all trail signs ensuring that you stay within our property boundaries. Do not hike in high winds or storms. Do not hike after dark. Wear proper hiking boots/shoes when hiking our trails. Please be aware there is wildlife such as bears and snakes as well as stinging insects, thorny plant material as well as poison sumac, ivy and oak. Hike, explore, and swim in the creek at your own risk.
Do not store trash outside so you don’t attract unwanted critters. If you need to empty your trash prior to checkout, large bear-proof trash cans are located near the entrance to the property (next to well house).

Do not leave fires unattended. No fires outside designated areas (hot tub and smokeless fire pit only). Do not use leaves or other forest debris for starting fires.
Use spark guard with smokeless fire pit when windy. All fires should be extinguished as soon as you are done enjoying it (before going to bed, before checkout, and before leaving the premises). DO NOT remove ash from hot tub or smokeless fire pit.
Please do not rearrange our furniture. Leave all furniture and fixtures in the same condition as when you arrived. If something breaks or gets stained, please let us know so we can address the issue during turnover. If it’s minor, no fee will be assessed. We just need to be told up front.
